Enjoyed the price of our family room in good condition and its essentials.
Well, the area was very busy overall.

The hotel was well-maintained and reasonably priced with PROFESSIONAL personnel on the reception desk. The venue room was a nice size, had a lounge, 2 windows and a kitchen area.

The hotel was wonderful old and perfectly clean, had special views across Oban bay. Booked the venue for its picturesque location adjacent to all the restaurants. Moreover, it was 15 mins on foot from a Colosseum - like Victorian folly.

Wonderful Family Experience by the Sea
The family room had great views, and the location near the waterfront was perfect for outings. For future guests, try to arrive before dinner to settle in.

Fantastic location, with amazin views of the water and great food. The staff were super friendly and helpful, always there when u needed them. Our room was comfy and clean, perfect for a couple. Breakfast in the morning was really nice and worth getting up for. Loved the atmosphere and the overall vibe of the place.
The bathroom really needed an update, and the pool was cold, so we didn't get to enjoy it. Was a bit disapointing.

The hotel features a lovely Victorian facade, definitely giving it character. The bar area has fine views.
I found the carpet in our room filthy, decorated with stains that raise eyebrows. We even walked into an open room that wasn't ready yet was nice. The bathroom had a distinctly unpleasant odor, a major turn-off. The shower setup wasn't user-friendly. The hallways had an unfortunate proximity to restaurant toilets, bringing an offensive smell at times. We also noticed a lack of power outlets in the room, so bring your extension cords, folks.

great views but breakfast could improve
The fine sea view from our room was a major highlight that enhanced our stay. The large bathroom and excellent coffee and tea facilities created a comfortable environment.
Breakfast options were somewhat limited.

Nice view but needs a touch-up
We stayed for 2 nights and got a room with an awesome sea view, a treat! The bed was big and super comfy, but the room was chilly. The breakfast selection was great, but the teacups were tiny, could've used a teapot! On the downside, everything felt a bit dated. A mixed bag.

The Alexandra offered a magnificent sea view from my room, spacious and well-equipped for my work needs. The staff were accommodating and efficient, ensuring that my check-in and check-out processes were smooth. I particularly appreciated the good quality dining options , as I was able to enjoy a satisfying breakfast before my meetings.
Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent, affecting my ability to work seamlessly.

We had a great view over the harbour from our room, it was really spacey and comfy! They also had still n sparkling water, a nice touch. Breakfast was alright too, just standard buffet stuff but worked for us.
The carpets could really use a vacuum and just felt kinda old and tired. The coffee machine in our room didn't work, a bummer.

The location was fantastic, with a beautiful view over the harbour from our spacious room. The breakfast options were great, offering a good variety to start the day. the coffee machine in our room didn’t work, which was a bit disappointing. A vacuum for the carpets would also be a nice touch to freshen up the place.
